Government and Practice Committee

The Government and Practice Committee is to serve as a communications conduit for the chapter membership concerning local government regulations and policies affecting the practice of architecture. Our goal as a group is to do this through the following:

 · Be proactive in recommending and promoting city policy that aligns with AIA’s 10 Principles for Livable Communities

· Ensure the chapter membership is aware of opportunities to give our architectural community a voice in local government and serve on city Boards and Commissions.

· Distribute information developed by the national Practice Management Knowledge Community to the Chapter membership.
